Last Month in Liverpool.

The time has come for me to depart from the city I have called home for the past ten months. I moved to Liverpool in September 2014 with no expectations, no solid life plan and no experience of life outside being a student. It was a different time in my life and a purgatory where I was lost in the idea that I could do whatever I wanted and be whoever I wanted and yet, having no clue about what I actually wanted to do or who I wanted to be. I needed time to think and work out what I loved about myself and my life so I could make the right decisions for the future.

It's been a hard year. I worked, lost my creativity and struggled with finding my place again after being so happy and comfortable at university. But eventually I realised what I want in life, that without being creative I am no one and I found people who I can truly call my friends. I'm sad to be leaving but I'm excited about the next part of my life and what I can do with it.

I feel like I made the most of my final weeks here. I went out and ate some amazing food, visited the museums, partied, explored new places like Crosby Beach and Liverpool Cemetery, cycled around the park and enjoyed the city in the sunshine. I saw friends for the last time and I really will miss everybody. It's true that I will keep in contact with everyone that wants to but saying goodbye is still a sad thing. I have fallen in love with this city and I fully intend to go back one day and relive the memories.

Thanks for the amazing times Liverpool. Now the London chapter begins...
